Hi just wanted to ask parents with kids who did all or rounds of the GEP selection tests. Are the GEP selection papers printed in colour or black and white? Thinking that there is a percentage of kids with colour deficiency may face difficulties in the pattern questions if these questions are printed in colour.

Hi All
ABRSM just finished this season of face-to-face exams in SG.
Have you received your results?
Have they been released to you within 3 days to a week?
Thanks -

RE: All About ABRSM Grades & Support
Is ABRSM high distinction a term coined in Singapore? Does the ABRSM cert actually state "high distinction"?

For primary schools, it can be very difficult to transfer into the popular primary schools.
Is there any criteria to meet for transfer of school? Will they consider my application if my reason is not to move nearer to where I stay?
There is a waiting list and transfer will only happen if there is a vacancy.
The school has the discretion of who to select. It's like a job application.
Different schools will likely have different criteria. -
RE: Opinions of the Primary School Registration System
Phase 2b had a higher chance before half of the places were allocated to phase 2c. The phase that suffered from this move was phase 2b.
Under the present system, it is difficult for the school to reserve places for parent volunteers because how would the school know how many spots to allocate. They can’t predict how many others are applying in this phase?
Also if the school restricts the number of PVs, then it is the staff of the school who selects the PC. Those who don’t get selected will complain it’s unfair…
The complaints of unfairness never ends.
Having said that, a parent who fails to get the child into the school of choice may be very upset. -
RE: Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary
It’s up to the discretion of the school staff whether they give out that info.

RE: All About Church/Clan/Society Membership
Please check with the school/church whether the children also need to be baptised as Catholics.
