Firstly, it would be helpful to know how many days you would like to spend in HKG and MFM.
Then, are you planning for HKG as the start point of your journey or the end point, or will MFM be a day trip / mid point of your journey.

As long as Macau is planned as the start or the end of the trip, it is possible to use ferry service from HKIA SkyPier as a transfer option. Otherwise, you will have to use the ferry service from either Kowloon or Sheung Wan. If you are planning to travel after December 2017, the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge (港珠澳大桥) may be opened by then. Therefore, land transfer (bus, taxi, etc) may also be possible.
