I have to correct you there. Herlitz is German brand but it's school bags are Made in China, hence the lower price. The quality is so-so and weighs a hefty 1.3kg but for that price, how to compare with the leading German brands?

Product details
Item Weight: 1.3 Kg
Boxed-product Weight: 1.7 Kg
Item model number: 11161007
ASIN: B004QNZ6WE
Date first available at Amazon.co.uk: 15 Mar 2011

Hi , You can try this brand \"Herlitz\" from Germany. Its available online from imybags.com.sg. I got mine for my daughter and she love it. The one I bought came with a Pencil Case , Colouring pencil case set, and a Shoe bag that blends totally with the school bag. The bags is ergonomic in design and has 3m reflector and stickers that protect your child in the early morning or evening from vehicles. Its made in Germany and of high quality rather than those made in china that pass off as ergonomic.

Ill try and post some pictures of her bag.I got it for $99 only and they do free delivery Worldwide.great service and you can get the stock in days.
Its a pity its not available in stores but then again the quick delivery makes up for it.

They sell all kinds of bags . Look for Herlitz

ergo desks look weird and odd shape to me...

Not all are odd shaped. The Taiwanese and Chinese brands often look odd and tacky. The German desks like Moll and Paidi are more stylish.

Hey windows, you can try Scool Marina Square. They have both the Deuter Smart M and S in all three colours. The Smart is the latest model and should be better than the boxy Genius as it has a frame inside for better ergonomics.
Hi Mummies and Daddies

For those who are using or bought BAM ergobag or Ergo bag can share their experience? which is btr? The sales gal told me they are the same 'technology' just that 1 is make in Germany and 1 is make in Vietnam. the price difference about $60
My DS is going to P1 next year and was thinking if this bag will be right for him.

Thanks

Bam ergobag and ergobag are actually different models from the same company. The back support and internal compartments are the same. The extra you're paying for the ergobag are the extra stickers and the nicer colours. Both have 3 years warranty. I got a purple/pink checkered ergobag for my DD as she liked that colour over the Bam colours. The \"technology\" is basically the internal frame that you find in hiking backpacks to protect your back and distribute weight.

Hi,
where can i buy the ergobag? Any promotion going on? Thank you
Ergokid in Wheelock Place is having a 10% promotion until December 31st.

hi just to share. found out from my friends in HK that they are selling the SPI bags there only ard HK$400 (which works out to be less than S$70). not sure how true. but if you are gg HK this holiday, may just wanna check out there.

SPI is a Hk brand... and interestingly it's more popular in SG than in HK due to the word of mouth marketing benefit that SPI enjoyed over the years. It's really cheap in HK and over the years the bag design hasn't changed. But is it really ergonomic...? Go find out before you buy...

In my opinion, Impact bags are much better school bags than SPI and they are much cheaper.

But you need more than cushion padding in a bag. Too much padding actually increases the weight without adding ergonomic benefits. What you need is a frame inside that prevents the bag from bending and helps distribute the weight off the shoulder. Think hiking backpacks with frame or your NS army backpack.

Deuter bags are better than the two and Deuter is a proven brand. The latest design is a much improved bag as it has an internal frame.

Ergobag and Satch are the best ergonomic bags that you can find now. They have the same design as high performance hiking backpacks; the same ones that allow hikers to carry huge loads.

Yes, ergobag has 2+1 years warranty. They told me it’s German warranty so there should be no worry. I was sceptical coz I thought I would have to send the item to Germany… imagine the courier costs… but they service it locally. Interestingly, they even cover zippers and buckles… the only thing they don’t cover is accidental damage such as scissor/blade cuts, dog bites, burns. My daugher has the bag for one year now and it looks in excellent condition… only needs a thorough cleaning.

any idea if ergokid moll table or kinderfun table goes on sale soon r bfore year end? do they usually have annual sale or promotions?

hi sweetbaby, Ergokid Moll had a DBS promotion that ended in August but I think they have a new promo this month, so you can always give them a call or email them. They are quite prompt at responding to enquiries. I hope this helps.
