    • RE: All About Flu and Cough

my whole family started on colostrum, my husband and i on the adults version and the children on theirs. we got better after 3 days. my children had cough n cold for 2 mths and we went through the whole entire works with the pd. both were taking turns with the nebulizer, anitibiotics. the whole family had to wear masks to stop the spread even the helper came down with cough and cold too.

unfortunately, the childlife colostrum and probiotics from GNC is so ex!! i also started them on the childlife cod liver oil all just to build up their immunity.

      fingers cross!!

    • RE: Colostrum

hi, both my kids came down with a very bad bout of cough and flu that started from CNY and it ding donged bet both of them till April. It was a terrible time

then i discovered this Childlife brand of colostrum and probiotics for a healthy gut. how they are so so much better and their bowel movements are so much better too. no more crying when they do their business. hehe. Unfortunately GNC which sells this is super ex!! at $70+ a bottle
till i found another source to order from.

if anyone keen to combine with me in doing a bulk purchase we can get it cheaper at $20.50 per bottle inclusive of shipping. the only thing is we need to get 16 bottles to enjoy this price. pm me if keen.

this is the product link 😉 http://www.childlife.net/node/54/

    • RE: Myanmar maids

dear all, i can totally understand what you have been gg through

i had 4 Burmese helpers too

1st didn’t complete her contract cos "grandma had cancer and wanted to see her fave granddaughter marry before she died" how true was that i don’t know. But yes they are extremely stubborn, unable to take criticism and can suddenly give you a heart attack by announcing out of the that they are unhappy or "family problem" and need to return home at the urging of their family even if that means to buy their own air ticket. Burmese are very very proud people.

2nd one was a single mom with 2 kids n had a boyfriend who she claimed is her brother n therefore need to call him every night to talk. she loved to carry my baby son, stand in front of the mirror to dance.

3rd only stayed a week cos she did nothing except to sit in the middle of the kitchen floor, beat her chest and wail cos she was homesick. she also grumbled non stop.

my 4th insist only on drinking certain things like Nescafe 3 in 1, Milo with Anlene milk She insists that she can’t take sweet stuff but takes liberal helpings of my husband’s jam, she helps herself to my mother’s anlene gold, eats more rice at every meal than my husband. yells and shouts at me and my mum and dictates her terms of what she will and will not do.she asked for various things from my relatives but now that her luggage is bursting she says she doesn’t want them anymore. best part is when she does not understand your instructions she picks a fight with you based on her misunderstanding.

after 6 yrs i think i had it with burmese helpers. its just too time consuming to explain n when they are finally a little better they start their nonsense n pack their bags.

btw, this 4th one recently lamented that she has put on 10kg… sigh…
she is a nightmare n we can’t wait for her to go…
