Thanks iFirefly for your insightful information. I’m sure my DD will be overwhelmed by the large population of students and new environment this year. I hope she is quick to adapt since RGS and RI are known to be resilient.

JC1s are selecting their electives today and my DD is at the open house with her friends. didn’t want me to accompany her. Meantime what will they be doing from next Monday onwards in RI before the JAE students join them in February. Can some experienced parents please enlighten.

I agree with Nebbermind that building the P4 and P5 foundations are important. I also ask my DS to look through his SA2 files from his P4/5 work, cover the answers and redo them.

May I know which centre/ teacher did your DD go to? My DS is taking his psle next year. Thank you.

Learning a lot from experience parents from the past psle threads. Thank you for all who had contributed. Let us continue to share the joys and fears together with our DDs and DSs. Giving our utmost support and encouragement, most importantly our unconditional love for them in their stressful year.

Getting ready for P6 soon? DS still enjoying his holidays not wanting to start revising. Kind of difficult to start the engine after such a long break. Thinking that psle is only less than 10 months left makes me nervous.
