I think parents have not heard of interdisciplinary courses that LKCMedicine students need to take. They WILL mix with students from other schools.

During the zoom session with wait list last year, the NUS team did share what are the alternatives in event of wait list become rejected. Two other possible alternatives.
NUS team is helpful, don't see similar support fr NTU to the wait list.

Scholarship only for those offered during 1st round in early May.
      Again... interesting point of view.

I will state the facts, NUS is preferred.
I am amazed by support fr the NUS fraternity. Their financial aid support is solid.

The \"wait list\" students felt the big difference last year.
NUS actively engaged wait-list students with zoom session & on-campus meet session, cos NUS wait-list has \"weight\".
While NTU did not have any follow-up for wait-list, other than email during late-june to wait-list student that an offer is made, & student given only 2 days to decide acceptance.
I see... so your support is based on engagement of waitlisted candidates. Not student support system or curriculum or learning facilities.

"Attended with my child Mon night zoom session with NUS Chair of Admission committee, Q&A for those reserve list candidates. Total 280, reserve list 70. NUS panel made clear chances is 50:50, during some previous years could be up to 80% success rate for reserves. Next window is 2 days after 24 May, have up to 18 Jun to reply for 1st batch reserved list who is successful. Also see question ask by someone who said he got NTU offer but NUS reserved list. NUS clarified reserved who receive offer will not qualify for scholarship but can only apply bursary based on financial. Aso have questions fr PR candidate who asked abt their chances in reserved list, & what if they receive citizenship what is the procedure to update status & chances? The NUS panel is being honest in their replies during zoom."

I can’t seem to find this message anymore… is this true? was there such a session?

I wonder why with a 90 UAS, 5.7,5.7 and 4A, my child didn’t receive a notice to attend MMI. 😞
You mean your child received from NUS already?

Has anybody/DS/DD taken UCAT before? I read that you receive your results on the spot. Can share your experience?

Yup... noted. It will be replaced by UCAT. Similar to my previous queries on BMAT, will it apply to UCAT as well? Thanks
I suppose similar to the national exams, if one doesn't do well in the first round u can consider to retake the next year. If resources and willingness are not obstacles, can always go gain experience for UCAT? :scratchhead:

For BMAT, is it advisable to attend preparation course? Any provider to recommend?
As BMAT can only be taken once a year, is it advisable to take during JC1 for experience purpose and take again the following year? Easier and less effort to redo a test then a new one.... Thanks.
BMAT will be discountinued after this year.... better go and google the latest requirements from both NUS and NTU...
