      coralie:
Last year's orientation for the parents at the school hall included a band performance from the CCA group, speeches by the principal and the parent support group. Kids went around the school for their orientation and their pre-assigned classrooms to meet their form teacher and fellow classmates.

      Hi coralie,
Beside orientation day, do you also have \"forms-filling day\" last year?

DH has never bathe our 4yo DD before.. when she was 2+ or 3yo, i requested DH to help bathe DD as I was busy with other task but DH shyly rejected quoting he does not know how to bathe for a gal.. But he did helped to bathe our 6yo DS quite a number of times.

I am very excited over DS1 entering P1 next year but at the same time a little worried if he can carry his school bag as he is pretty small built..

Any idea where i can get a suitable school bag which is light weight?

      coralie:
Based on what I've heard here and there, the teachers there will supervise the P1 kids on their homework. Once they are done, they can play with each other/read/do assessment books etc. The teacher will walk them over to the school at 11+am. Why don't you call them to find out more? 🙂

keke.. if call them, sure will hear only the \"good things\" from them.. so would like to hear some real and actual reviews from parents who put their kids there.. thks anyway.. 😉

    • RE: Do you greet your sis-in-law?

i do greet my hb's elder bro's wife with \"hi\" or \"hello\" smilingly.. similarly for hb's younger bro's wife too.. when we are chatting, we would address each other by names as we are of about the same age and if to address her formally as \"da sao\" it seems abit awkward.. my mil has no issue with the greeting so far.. 😉
