      fujiringo:
Hi any mummy knows when will GRPS totally change to one session, ie. Morning session only school?

2nd boy is entering P1 in 2014 and not sure will be in AM or PM by 2014?
1st one in Higher Pri, will definately be in AM session.

If by 2014 P1 still PM session, then I really jialat... Don't know how to arrange my pick up.

MOE kinda \"Ordered\" all sch to switch to single session by 2015. School can realizes it earlier depending on the Principle and capacity of the school.
So, if you're lucky maybe just have to suffer a year of different session. Or maybe not at all?! next year we have new principle, things might change.

They stop classifying which class is the top class because all the 4 HA classes will have students gradding between certain %- certain %. And this certain % is unknown because it depends on the overall % of the whole of the P2 (2012) students. This is just my guess.

According to the booklist, it's already known that HN, HU, RE & LY will study Conquering Problem Sum for Maths. The rest of the classes will study Heuristic. Don;t understand why they want to classify like that, but only GRPS has the answer bah?
That's right, DS class 23students make it to HA.
HN, HU, RE & LY have a mixed of students.
For my DS Class, possition 2nd, 4th, 7th... etc goes to HU

MOE doesn't allow school to disclose name of top student and top score.. make it so secretive...

So, yesterday pupils from GRPS received their report book.

Reading thru it but can't find the level positioning.
Why do they make it so secretive? Gonna make DS checking with his form teacher.

DS will be in P3 Humility, wondering is it still HA class?

Anyway, booklist still remain a mystery, such efficiency! >.<

:congrats: Heard that Humility is one of the best class

Oh, good to know, thanks! :thankyou:

I gave DS KFC chicky club party at his Kindergarten when he was in K1.

28 child for less then $300. It was fun with chicky meal, game play and goodies bag…
      all arranged by KFC.

DS still remember it till now.

The bad news is NO MORE CHICKY CLUB!! :,(

back when my son was 2+years old

he rolled a ball under the TV console.
I ask him to dig it out..

mom: see, the ball rolled underneath already, dig it out
son: mommy, i don know how
mom: use your head (*to think* - i never said *to think* out loud)
son: but my head is not long enough... (eyes red red, almost crying....~~)

    • RE: PSP for kid

i have DS, Wii, Xbox, PSP, gameboy advance etc...

      my son is in N2

Yes, he got hooked on PSP when he first got it as 4yold b'day present (grandpa), look at it now, a mere 1 month and he dropped the \"i only play with my PSP\" attitute.

child being a child, he still love jumping, running, swimming and minggling around. esp weekend when we bring him out to play with his favourite friend, the park, beach, ikea playland (so i can do some shopping too.. ehehheh)...

Give them exposure earlier is better then later. Try expose them only when they're teenage, they get hooked for years rather then months(not all of cos, but i am an example - got hooked on Diablo for 2years  )...

    • RE: [Bukit Panjang/Bukit Timah/Hillview] Preschools

my son in N2 St. Jo Kindergarten, i love the school environment.

not confined to an air-con room, that’s the last things kids need…
Will continue him untill K2, a relax teaching style is not a problem actually, i want my son to enjoy school rather than forcing him to school everyday.
P1 is near, better let kids enjoy before loads of homework arrive!!
