my girl score 8 raw after deducting is 4 pts in her o level. she is considering science stream RIJC or DHS and also NYJC but with her raw score 8 not sure will she be able to cope in RI/DHS anyone child has similar experience to share please?

My DD just received her PSLE result, She planned to apply for Cedar girl IP & O level track for 2017 intake. Does the school treat both IP & O level track students equally & given equal opportunities for school events/activities?

Hi, You can rest assured that school treat both track's student equally.
my DD is in O level and she is doing well and happy.

      Hi parents.

Anyone staying Punggol/Sengkang. How long is the journey to school by car/transport? How much is the transportation fee quoted? Pls share how are you coping with the distance when the kids gets older and gets involve in CCA. Any regrets?
Yes, from sengkang, takes school bus with almost 50mins. last year we payed $200+ monthy. no issue for the long journey in the bus, and during CCA period, bus will fetch them too except for special events/ sport days. and that's when you need to make arrangement.
      No regrets. πŸ™‚ πŸ†’

      hi Mummies,

Can i ask your opinions, if anyone of you start to teach your DS/DD algebra to solve P5 Math questions ? do you think we should start at P5 now ? TIA πŸ™‚

I heard its not advisable to use algebra in PSLE as it wont be given any working marks if the answer is wrong. Is it true ? :scratchhead:

Hi mummies...with the currents (P5) school workloads, will you consider to let your DD/DS to attend Math Olympiad in school ?

Yes, I think its a good training for solving IQ qs which I heard there could be in psle.

As for the competition, it depends on his ability and interest. I will encourage him to take part if he is above average.

Thanks lim72, I just wondering if it does help on school Syllabus. πŸ˜„
