my son brought his eng paper.booklet A&B allocated for 75%.That means marks ok when calculating for 100. Eng t also reduced the qns.usually compre cloze 15 blanks. My son’s paper has 10 blanks.synthesis 3 instead of 5.OE 7 instead of 10.

when we doing the top school papers,he always say that our school paper cannot be like this.so don’t worry.Hmmm…i always remind him that u would be sitting PSLE with the top school kids and having the same paper as they have.

My boy did better than our expectation for hcl. We only expect a pass but this potato boy came out highest for that paper. Why like that? We admit to spending a disproportion time on chinese at the expense of other subjects, thinking that his stronger ones can hold a bit while we focus on the weak ones. Turns out the strong one can't hold if we neglect it. His time already maxed out. Unless he speeds up his work process and practice better time management skills, he won't be able to squeeze in more practice for other subjects.

Congrats Jedamum for son's stellar result in HCL πŸ•Ί

Thanks. His hcl results was unexpected, but his cl results is like kwah kwah kwah. πŸ˜“

My son failed his Chinese . He said only 3 in the class passed. The rest are still partial-returned to him, But I think he’ll pass most of the subjects.

We gotta work v hard for SA1.

I think so. His tutor is shocked cos DS1 never flunked a Chinese paper before.

                    hi Mummies,

Can i ask your opinions, if anyone of you start to teach your DS/DD algebra to solve P5 Math questions ? do you think we should start at P5 now ? TIA πŸ™‚

I heard its not advisable to use algebra in PSLE as it wont be given any working marks if the answer is wrong. Is it true ? :scratchhead:

Same here, no CA but have topical test/quizzes for maths and science. Dd didn't do well in them too.
