It's doesn't matter big or small bag. It's up to your daughter discretion. Just a handy bag will do. So that she can keep her belonging and skirt in her bag.
As the first 2 days is orientation day, bring a decent bag for her to carry her water bottle and stuff like a pen & a note book just Incase need to filled forms for games or adminstration stuff. Guess you are as excited as your daughter on her first day at school.
From the orientation programme 2014 form, the school have suggested to bring for both the orientation days.
Items are:
Water bottle
Stationary & small note book
Money - to buy food/drinks from the canteen
A copy of NAPFA test results for all stations
E-Z link card -
Hi! I was reading through the slides about CCA selection - link below:
http://www.cedargirlssec.moe.edu.sg/wbn/slot/u1242/Latest%20News/Level%201%20CCA%20Matters%20-%20Exhibition%20Day%2C%20Audition%2C%20Selection%20%26%20Allocation.pdf
Sorry for sounding daft, but what do compulsory CCA auditions mean? Do the girls choose to attend at least 1 of the CCAs that have compulsory trials/ auditions or must the girls attend ALL the trials/ auditions of the CCAs that have been listed as compulsory?
Thanks

The S class is for dsa sports girls who did not meet the school's cop. If they meet the cop, they are put into the regular classes. -

Thanks Shinnio! My dd, who has two left feet like me when it comes to dancing, is horrified to know that the modern dance audition is compulsory :slapshead:

Btw, I've read on previous entries that school usually ends at 3.15 pm on most days and the early days are for CCAs. Then how do the 3rd lang girls make it to moelc at bishan by 3.30 pm? I reckon it takes at least an hour to get there? -

When I was in sec one I didnt choose to take part in modern dance audi just sat outside dance studio and waited
should still be the case I think
Third lang is usually on One of the days with a short day if im not wrong. If theres any clashes, your dd can talk to her ft but I think she will be advised to change to another day (if im not wrong there are two days to choose from for 3rd lang)
Maybe some other parents can better advise because I dont take third lang but my friends who do take it on a thursday!

Hi, if u wish to change timing for 3rd lang, u can download a form fm moelc. Get the FT or CCA teacher to sign dependg on reason n get ur dd to send it bc to MOELC offc. But this is subject to availy. Oso if u canβt make it for class, u can email the teacher ic n ask for makeup class. Response is v prompt.
My ds changed class 2x n both times he was successful. He cldnt make it for class several times due to competitions, but all his makeups were granted -
Hi, my dd hv to be in sch by 6.35am/6.40am as she is the first drop off. She is worried thereβs no one there.
