My mum was complaining that her uniforms are too big and we bought her another 2 sets on the next day (lucky it's a Saturday). Now she has got 4 sets of uniforms (after my DMum made the alterations)!! She commented that I used to wear skirts so much shorter and now my DS wears like a nun!!!!!! wahaha

      lolz!
Yes...some of the girls in my boy's school are wearing skirt that are almost reaching the ankle... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes, I did see at least one girl with skort halfway to the shin. Isn't it difficult to walk in a long skort? (Like wearing kimono...)

I checked with my daughter last night and she said that her partner is a Malay boy. I wonder if she will ignore him or boss him around.
Hm...based on my detective skills....(hey, I did took 101 photos over the past 3 days ๐Ÿ˜‰ ), his name is Jamal (in orange PE attire), my boy's ex-Kindergarten classmate. He is a very nice kid.

Yup, that's the name she gave me. I hope she treats him nice. (Note to self: Drop hints to daughter tonight.)

It's good that my daughter goes to childcare 'cause this means that she knows others from the same school too, just not same class or same age. At least I only have to worry about her academics, especially Chinese. ๐Ÿ™

... I didn't check her out during recess because for the 1st 3 days, we have paid for them to have their recess breaks in class. She will start her buddy system of buying food today. ๐Ÿ™‚

Can eat in class meh? Boy... times have changed. Then again, last time policeman wear shorts.

I was so excited about my boy's first day of school. He is at ACSJ and they only started school on Tuesday as the school moved to a new premise. Took tons of pictures and have blogged about it http://angeliatay.livejournal.com/382435.html#cutid1.

Haha...more like they give us goodies for NOT teaching him (horribly mispronounced) Chinese.

ACSJ is really nice & big. Very nice sick beds and attractive classroom chairs (ie bright yellow). Even canteen stallsโ€™ menu boards are appealing. I think the sch has good marketing team.

                      Caroline,

I guess the P1 batch this year is fortunate because the school is brand new so they get to enjoy a bigger premise and all the new facilities and amenitiesโ€ฆerm, thanks to the generosity of the studentsโ€™ parents!

Well, I have to add though that the canteen food is really exorbitant when u compare it to that of the other schools!

My boy is a true-Leo....ie very bossy.
                        schellen:
And talking about bossiness, he better not be my daughter's partner or he'll end up being bossed around for the whole year. (It's the truth! She bossed around the boys in her class at K2, K1 and N2. )
                        schellen,
I know that this post is already off topic but I can't resist this : do you know that our bossy kids get to 'boss' the classmates to stand in line and keep quiet for the whole of this term? Ha! talking about bossiness! ๐Ÿ˜‰
