      Hi there

Sorry, I go directly to my agency to sort these things out for me. Yes, I will just pay a bit more to get rid of the hassle.

we used to go the embassy on Sunday to queue but last year they abolished the practise and changed to e-appointment.

the OEC cost last than $5 and if I do it via the agency, it is really no worth it!

I think there are more things involved than an OEC for exiting and returning otherwise how can agencies justify a $200+ fee for doing all this?

Anyway you should get it settled soon! My maid is going on home leave on 22 March and i applied through a maid agent for exit permit etc in the 2nd week of February. The documents were only issued today!

So you need at least 3-4 weeks to get the documents ready. Suggest you do so asap. Good luck!

Her other travel documents, eg. a valid authenticated employment contract, OWWA, work permit and passport are still valid coz she went home last year in Jan.

So for this time we need only to buy the exit pass.

oh i see. perhaps you can check with the agency how it can be done? or whether it’s one of those things only agents can do…

Thanks, lexis. Do you have any contact of a reliable agent to check with?

I used Happy Home at Lucky Plaza to do the documentation for me. They did everything without hassle for me.
