Note that as crescent is not a sap school, the school does not offer all students hmt. Sorry I can only comment on hcl here.


For students who don’t automatically qualify, you need to appeal. But preference is given to those who did hcl during PSLE.

Hcl seems to be challenging. It is a lot more demanding versus pri hcl. In addition, school standard is high at the same time.

But would still prefer dd to pursue where possible.

One add advantage is if you get a pass at O level for HMT, you are exempted from doing the MT at A level.

Plus 2 bonus points for JC admission. Take if your dd can. Put in the hard work. It's worth it. Even if did not take HCL in p6, it is still possible to get a distinction for HCL at Sec 4.

We bought 3 sets of uniform, 3 PE tshirts and school jacket. Besides PE lessons, the girls also have weekly 1.6km fitt run around the canal and aerobics lesson. This may/ may not be on the same day as their PE.

We drive dd to school so we got the decal which allows us to enter/ park in school. Unsure the impact of no decal. Decal is valid till they graduate.

School shoes is complicated to explain. Existing girls might want to explain. Per my impression, colors such as white/ grey/ yellow/ black/ blue on the shoes are allowed. Nothing striking or luminous. Suggest looking at the girls' shoes or ask the student leaders tomorrow.

Earrings btw must be very simple stud.
