i need some feedback on PCF at blk 929 hougang ave 9 before decide to enroll my kid. Is the teachers there good? Is ur child learn things from there? alots activity (enrichment course)? thanks… really need some advice and feedback… thanks!

Hi Tamarind. my boy just joined the PCF for K1 in Jurong west ave 5.. there is no Maths being taught in the centre...just English and second lang. It worries me a lot and I thought of pulling him out and enrolling him in MMI.


However, I want to know from other mummies ..in PCF .dont they teach any Maths to K1 kids ? :?

My kids attend the PCF near Jurong Point, they do teach a lot of Maths. In fact, my girl's PCF K2 class taught the entire P1 maths syllabus.

Have you spoken to the teacher ? May be they teach maths in school, but just no homework yet ?

Hi I heard that PAP kindergartens launched a different program for their teaching programs. Cant remember what that was but it was available in one of the bukit panjang branch (Bangkit or Senja).

Also i heard the branch in Choa Chu Kang blk 353 also offers a different program for PAP?
Has anyone heard of this programme? Please share?

Its definitely something to do with experiential learning but not sure if its linked to Lego. I just heard that they offered only at certain branches, eg the bukit panjang branch started offering about 2 years back.

today i got a shock when i knew that my CDA account is dried up.

then i \"asked OCBC\", got another shock that PAP kindergarten is charging $200 / mth for K1 classes !!!!! :shock:

My first reaction was \"WTH\"? :x :x :x
PAP charging $200 / mth ??

I tot it was like $50 /mth ? :?
I recalled the nusery fee last year was $90 for 3 months!!!

saw my DD home work, at K1 level, they are still teaching how to write letters a , b , c .... cant demand $200 with this type of standard..

any good K1 schools in TPY ?
