Anyone send your child to XUE ER YOU LANGUAGE CENTRE (JURONG) for enrichment / tuition?
Was thinking of sending my P2 daughter for classes there.
Any feedback / reviews / tips?

Did you send you kid to Yew Tee Branch? any comment?
Thank you. -
Hi, yes I sent both my kids there since July. They had shown more interest in Chinese and has improve in words recognition after attending Xue Er You.
How old is your child? -
Found this thread by chance, sad to find this 5 years late and didn’t see this when I was very active in 2010 preparing DS for PSLE.
DS is with the YT/CCK centre since Pri 2 till JC1, 10 solid years. But DD was there for a short while, reason can be found on my other threads.
Liang Wen Fook and his wife, they are the owner of YT/CCK and JW centre, I know them personally after DS started tuition there. Very humble and down to earth couple and very active in pushing the CL’s frontier. Mrs Liang teaches in secondary classes of HCI before, but HCI doesn’t have P5 and P6.
Both centres, Sec 2 and below are taught by the centres’ staff, Liang Wen Fook and his wife took the Sec 3 and Sec 4 classes, and you won’t be surprised that their classes are popular and your have to book a seat early for the following year in November. I would say that if your child can get 10% of their knowledge, he/she will be scoring A*, Distinctions, A1, etc not only CL but also HCL given the current very low MOE standard of CL here.
Dr Liang actually lectures Chinese in NTU (Institute of Education) and guess who he teaches, all the future Chinese Teachers who will be going to Pri, Sec, JC to teach after they graduated.
Well, without further saying, the rest you can conclude yourself.
I guess parents like tamarind, Champion, xnowy, etc are probably no longer active leaving scares behind for the above centre and they just speak out of what they know/don’t know, maybe what they think/never think, which the facts are actually wrong. So sometimes it’s better to speak after verifying with the centre itself.
And those who said the wrong things, you actually owe an apology for saying the wrong things by giving the wrong information here. -
