      Thank you ngl2010

School ends at 2.20pm on Thursday.

Its the same situation. Cross country on Friday. Book out is on Thursday.

But we are told to fetch boys 7.30pm onwards.

Is it possible to clean room after school and book out rather than wait till 730pm?

I don't think so but you can ask the Boarding Master.

GP exam for Y6 today. The rest of the papers are scheduled after the March holidays.

Heard that this exam has the highest casualty rate (to 'wake up' the students), even higher than that of Y5 MYE.

            ALL THE BEST.. šŸ˜„

Well, as long as we know. Just calibrate expectations accordingly. My daughter is still so busy with CCA etc that she complains that she hasn't had much time to study. I have pointed out that there is a week of holidays coming, but she also has stuff (fun things, not compulsory things) which she won't give up, so I've stopped listened to her griping. She should be free to study more after June, I guess.

                Hi Slmkhoo

Totally the same sentiments as you.DD is also very busy with cca and very fun activity during the march hoidaysl.I think with time constraints and such a short runway, don't think DD will do well;((

June will have a \" luxury\" to mug more.

DS has never complained about his school workload (in fact, he hardly complains about anything). He's managing fine so far. I'm only concerned about GP.

Anyone has a good GP tutor to recommend ?

This is something quirky to RIJC and some other JCs, even from my rjc days. Many students play like mad and still can produce results at the end. Unfortunately I'm not one of those.

As long as your DC don't show extreme signs of stress, they'll cope well.

At the moment, it sometimes seems like work hard, play harder! Hopefully the balance will tilt the other way closer to the A levels (I don't expect that play will completely disappear).
