Thanks zacmum for the link. I was happy for a moment that for sngs, phase 1 number is quite good. Then I remembered the bulk of them comes from alumni.. haiz, praying hard that it's not going to be oversubscribed till my phase of 2A2

U didn't join Alumni? Good news is the number of Phase 1 has decreased so pray for the best but be prepared for the worst.

there are people who have no choice of joining alumni. there is a clear distinction of 2A2 and 2A1, eg, siblings' ex sch.

you mean at the end of phase 2A1, there won't be places for those in 2A2?
2A2 is for kids whose parent is a teacher or for younger sibling of the child who has studied in the school and of course the parent who is a former student.

If 2A1 already need to ballot, there won’t be 2A2. Next phase will be 2B which is the reserved 20 slots.

SNGS left with 102 places for 2A1. Will be interesting to see whether that's enough for everyone. I think with the 40 reserve seats quota in place, people are more kiasu and more liberal in using their alumni privileges these days.

i read from CNA there are more bunnies registering for P1 compared to dragons...don't know if i read wrongly.

Could be enough for 2A1 and some left over for 2A2, just not sure if it's enough for the applicants in 2A2.
