MGS (blackmore drive) phase 2B :

balloting required, within 1 km : for Methodist church members, Grassroot members inside GRC for MGS.
            MGS is out.

can refer to MGS past years balloting trend here, to verify

            https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/article/bukit-timah/

            SCGS past balloting trend :-

            https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/article/novena/

            RGPS :
normally require balloting, for SC outside 2 km. May refer past years P1 admission statistics:-

ST Margaret primary, CHIJ ( Our Lady of Nativity / Our Lady of Good Counsel / Kellock / Katong), Marymount Convent primary, have vacancies for SC (Sg citizen) children

Since your girl prefers a girls school, do try your best to grant her wish. I’m not sure what was your own experience at Pei Tong, but I heard some bad things about that school. It is especially unsafe for girls.

MGS and SCGS >2km whether got chance to ballot, varies year to year. I suggest you apply MGS phase 2B, if didn’t get in then apply SCGS phase 2C, if didn’t get in then apply Bukit Timah Pri phase 2CS (or Pei Tong if you really prefer nearer home).

Bad things about Pei Tong? Do u mind to share privately with me? I only heard its stressful due to testes all the time. Thanks for your reply, i was thinking of this plan too but do not really know abt bukit timah pri sch. distance is not a problem for me.
