2019 P1 Registration Exercise for 2020 In-take
-
Hi all,
I’m trying hard to find posts/forumfrom twins parents on how they register their twins into the same primary school. My twins born in 2013. Anyone has any idea on this? I’m worried if go through electronic ballot, one of the twins got selected and the other did not.
I’m staying in Sengkang and our first choice is CHIJ -OLN. No affliation nor in the religion but it’s within 1-2km range.
What would the chances be? -

Your scenario will never happen if your twins have applied to the same school. Refer to MOE FAQ on twins:Hi all,
For the purpose of balloting in the Primary One (P1) Registration Exercise, siblings/twins/triplets of the same citizenship will be treated as one group.
All the children will share the same ballot number, and all the children will be admitted to the school if any one of the siblings/twins/triplets is successful in the computerised ballot.
-
Great to know about this info! Thanks!

Since your girl prefers a girls school, do try your best to grant her wish. I’m not sure what was your own experience at Pei Tong, but I heard some bad things about that school. It is especially unsafe for girls.Hi, Im staying in clementi having a few schs for p1 selection for my girl. Having few choices including my old sch. MGS and SCGS >2km whether got chance to ballot, varies year to year. I suggest you apply MGS phase 2B, if didn’t get in then apply SCGS phase 2C, if didn’t get in then apply Bukit Timah Pri phase 2CS (or Pei Tong if you really prefer nearer home).
