poor girl, 19 year old so young. She was at her prime.

Scary to see her head hit the window, then sucked out from the impact hit, horrible

          this Clementi road seems treacherous

😓 Wondering - was she wearing a seatbelt or did the impact render it useless?

              Oh, so sad!
I was near dover at 7.30 , struck in the traffic and wondering why is there so much traffic on the day we are late , fuming at the delay.

Ashamed to think I was agitated at a few minutes delay when there were lives at stake ...

I dont have the courage to see the video.

              Hope the injured recover soon.
              RIP , young girl.
              Strength to her family 🙏

It's so 心酸 to watch the video.

I'd like to see heavy penalties for drivers who speed, beat traffic lights & tailgate too closely (this one not possible to assess but always dangerous act).

                Just to share :

Not far near the Spore Poly stretch, I once traveling along & nearing the taxi stand near Dover MRT on a Saturday afternn, the taxi driver spotted a passenger hailing & just suddenly stop for the passenger to hop on on 2nd lane! Noted the taxi plate & called the traffic police, but alas were told we've to go to station to make report & hv to take time-off to go court when hearing in court commences. :slapshead:

We now put a camera I car.

Ano thot : Maybe taxi companies shld dish out some form of disincentives or penalties for reckless taxi drivers. State all the forbidden driving behaviors in handbook or SOPs for taxi drivers.

Those Grab/Uber/Rayner drivers more careful bcoz it's private care registry? Me wondering.

When we lived near there, we often saw accidents at that junction. DH said it is because the road is big so cars tend to hurry in order to cross that road before the traffic lights turn red. Maybe LTA should consider building overpass or underpass for vehicles at that junction.
