Chij tp sec is for ij tp pri whom did not do well enough to qualify for other schools. Is just a mediocre sch with high cutoff becos most of its places filled up by feeder sch. If u can choose sch which offers pure sci only to express stream.

Becos these r the sch which have the confidence n will b able to guide the even ave students to do well.
hi there, i have been reading some of your comments on IJ and I simply felt that something should be said regarding what you said. IJ is definitely not just a mediocre school simply because we have a low cut off point for the affiliates nor because we we do not only offer express stream but normal streams. You can just look up on our o level distinction rates and this shows that although the affiliates you mentioned had mediocre psle scores, wonderful o level results can still b produced! and this is definitely because IJ isn’t a mediocre sch and because ij has the confidence, support and can guide the students to do well 🙂 oh yes btw i had many primary friends who did well enough to go to other “ so called better schools with only pure science express steam “ but still chose to come to IJ!

            Breadandmuffins:

The school choose to keep their cut off low so that the girls can continue their education in IJ . This inclusive policy is what I like about about the school and I certainly hope they don’t raise the cut off unlike some others.

There may be mediocre teachers or school leaders but to say that the school is mediocre just cos the girls are fr the primary side with not so good results , with no where to go, is very condescending. Despite taking majority of the girls fr the pri side with scores of only 200 onwards, they offer 5 pure science classes and only 2 combined science. And their O level results still turned out pretty decent. I find this school more value added than others. The perception that pure science classes are better is so outdated in today’s society .....and going to JC need not be the only route these days....

              Hi,

Based on school’s classroom timetable, per week (or in 1 week), roughly, how many lessons are allocated (set-aside) to teach POA subject (Principles of Accounting)?

Is it more than 2 lessons, every week ? Per lesson, is it half an hour or 45 minutes ? Thank you.

I would like to know how often POA lessons are held.
as this is a new subject, I'm worried how she will cope with it.

May I please ask how many sets of white blouse/PE attire/house tee would be sufficient weekly?

with the new principal, I wonder if there will be any major changes to the syllabus.
