Don’t mind if I ask a silly question, are the girls allowed to bring back their dirty uniforms to wash or do they do their own washing and ironing at the boarding school?

No lah... there are no silly questions. The girls can do their own laundry or bring back home to wash - no hard rules. But usually have to “fight” for the washing machines / dryers in the boarding school . During the BSE, it’s not unusual to see the girls coming to class in “un-ironed” uniform or wear the same uniform for 2 days .

The global classroom program lasts 2 weeks, and the girls can opt between a few China cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou. If they are in the SAP program, it can go up to 6 weeks.

Lots of activities to train the girls up.

Chill.... first week is orientation only so means play play and play. Even on normal regular days, the only book that you need to bring regularly is Chinese textbook and lots of foolscaps

It is for those students awarded the MOE scholarship for bicultural studies programme in year 3. 6 weeks immersion is indeed long!

My girl was in the SAP program and had gone for the six week immersion in China. the program was very enriching and the girls had enjoyed so much. They went to 北大，清华，复旦 to visit and meet their 学姐； they also visited some Singapore enterprises; visited Great Wall, forbidden city etc. My girl put on weight when she returned The trip was a bit long but many parents also took the opportunity to visit China so that we can ”偶遇” in sec 4, the SAP scholars will visit UK, and the trip is 2 weeks.
