      ChiefKiasu:
As adults, we encounter such things all the time too. We get speeding cars coming right up behind us and flashing their headlights to tell us slow coaches to move out of their way. How do we deal with such incidents ourselves? I would choose to calmly stay my course, as long as I'm driving at the speed limit, and let the guy simmer behind before finally filtering off to another lane to speed away. Just knowing that I pissed off an a-hole can make my day πŸ™‚

Very true. I'm only worried what if the student fell and hurt himself/herself as a result of the shove? Definitely the 'pusher' has no intention of 'falling' the other student but with students carrying heavy bag and having smaller physique - this could jolly well happen one day.

I'm wondering if the school should put teacher at the gate during dismissal time (just like during the PM session). Usually there are two teachers at the gate to facilitate the students exit (PM session), which I think serves more than just helping to control the traffic crossing. Students in the PM session does not run/push or play while exiting the gate, due to the presence of the teachers. If only they implement the same thing for morning session πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„

Any teachers from CCK here? πŸ˜› πŸ˜›

i just called up SVPS and was informed that i am staying within 1km of the school, think that will put me in P2B (correct me if i am wrong). I checked past record, P2B will too have to be balloted but the chances are quite high. Worth to give it a shot ??

            Thanks.

              Thanks.
Phase 2B is for PV parents, members of Grassroots etc; if you are just regular parents, even within 1km is still under Phase 2C.
do read up MOE's website on the phases in detail.

Bear Ho .. u registering in Phase 2C? All the best :xedfingers:

                      Hi all,

My boy is successful in getting a plc at Ph2B. Looking fwd to network with SV parents in this thread.

Anyone can share experience on P1 orientation? Do we have to buy books & uniform on the orientation day itself? Will it be chaotic? Thot of buying uniform at the authorised seller at Bt Batok...won't be so choatic to try etc. When will be able to know the child's hse color for PE shirt?

For those who has successfully registered at earlier phase this year, do u guys already know when is the orientation date this year? Dun want to clash with my year-end travel plans.
