Never heard of such a thing for phase 1, phase 2B or 2C.

Is your brother talking about other phases? So far I only know of phase 3 requiring indication of interest.[/quote]
      Thanks Zac's Mum,

Don't think he meant other phase as his son (a yr older than mine) joined Catholic High under 2A1.

Nonetheless, I have asked hubby to call the school to clear the doubts.. and he called me earlier saying none of the above, just arrive on the day of registration and submit the docs as required.

:rahrah: can't wait and get it done and over with!!

Ok, spoke to my SIL and asked her what her hubby meant yesterday... so she said that they have to call the school to inform them that they intend to partake in the 2018 registration (for 2019 P1 intake) last year.. and the school asked them to submit some documents for clearance and then they were given a date/time to register. I specifically asked her if they register their son under 2A1 and she said yes... to which is why i got a little confused and asked. Anyway, i will trust the info given by the school, since its a different school anyway...

        Thanks all! :xedfingers:

          Hi,

I have a question, need enlightment.

I wish to enrol into a school (under 2C) near my area (CCK), but it seems its a popular school, definite will need to ballot. In the event if failed to get in, I intend to enrol into another school near my parents at Bukit Batok instead. The school is not that popular, based on pass statistics, will have vaccacines even after 2C.

In such situation, do I need to bring my mother (main caregiver, not working) to MOE to make a declaration?

            Hi all,

We are residing in Punggol. My DD is going to take P1 registration for 2020.
I am juggling between 3 schools in Punggol. Distance is ok between all the schools. If anyone know about these schools please shed some light.
            Thank you.

            1. Edgefield Primary
            2. Greedndale Primary
            3. Waterway Primary

                https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/primary-one-registration/statutory-declaration

Statutory declaration is when you want to use the address of your parents instead of yours.
however, there are conditions to be fulfilled.

Given that the Bukit Batok school has vacancies after 2C, what you will need to find out is if:
                - your address bring of more than 2KM (I assume), does it make you worse off for 2CS
                - if yes, then use your parents address, by stat dec, which will pull you one bracket earlier, into the 1 to 2km group

Anyway, go and perform a stat dec. it just takes time but its free.
You want to use the letter or not, can decide later.

I’m not sure but you may want to check with ACS OBA (https://www.acsoba.net). Usually, they would need to verify e.g. you have paid your membership dues, your membership is approved in time, etc.
