        ...
However, IP remains something that is NOT worth pursuing in St Nicholas. Why do I say that? For an IP student, she has to go Eunoia JC and the cut off points seems higher than Nanyang JC. For O levels girls, they can easily head to Nanyang JC. They have both O levels cert and A levels cert eventually as compared to IP student with A levels cert only.

There is a JC cut off point list out there and Eunoia JC is not that impressive at all.
Unfortunately, the JC COP doesn’t tell you a full / complete picture. It’s like holding on to an elephant tail blindfolded and trying to describe how an elephant looks like.

JC COP represents only the snapshot of O Level students choosing EJC. If you take a short term POV, I can understand why EJC is an unpopular option for graduating O Level students - ‘ulu’ location, old / temporary facilities, etc. Plus, the need to move to different parts of Singapore, ie spend JC1 in Mt Senai and JC2 in Bishan, doesn’t sound appealing at all.

However, for graduating primary school students and those having a longer term POV, it’s absolutely worth it. IP is a 6 year journey and by the time you get to yr 5 and 6, you will be spending time in a shiny, new and modern campus. After all, form is temporary, class is permanent; and with SNGS, SCGS and CHS forming the base for EJC, I’m fairly confident EJC results will surpass that of NYJC when the time comes. And that shiny, new and modern campus? it will start competing for those top scoring neighborhood kids (which didn’t make the cut to RJC) from around AMK, Bishan and Serangoon, ie NYJC catchment.

It’s worth remembering that not so long ago, AJC COP was much lower than that of NYJC. Guess what happen?

It is too soon, to conclude that Eunoia JC is \"not that impressive at all\".

After Eunoia JC shift into the brand new sprawling huge campus, it could turn out into another different story, from now.

Heard of \" Feng shui lun Liu zhuan \" ? After \"zhuan \" from the \" ulu\" temporary site to a permanent, brand new site. Tomorrow Friday 22 Feb 2019, is the first batch of A-level EJC graduates getting results, and they will form the pioneering alumni EJC members.

The historical value of a Junior College, can take many years and several generation of students to build up, to raise up her reputation. We should have faith, in Eunoia Junior college, that one day she will come to pass.

No doubt school culture and reputation is important, but personal hard work is the key that leads to good result.

                      Dear all

May I ask if there is any special commitment for DSA bilingualism IP? And is there any subject restriction in the future because of the Bilinguilism DSA?
                      Thank you.
