With smaller class size ( junior yr 1-2 or 1-4?) it hasnt churned out value added A level results.

My child got significant value-add can already. :boogie: Our experience was that the IP prepared well for JC & A levels .

Heard that...during an ensemble-Ptm session with JHs, the hall was asked how many seated guardians were alumnus, & a third raised their hands. I'm not an alumnus, but we've several in the family, & I'd definitely wish for the young ones to be able to follow in the footsteps of a common tradition+culture.

          Dear parents

If your dc is studying at NJC, could you share why he/she choose this school, and good things & not so good things that you and your DC feel about it?
          Thanks so much.

J1 to J4 students have to stay about a Term (8 to 10 weeks) in school for boarding school experience.

                J1 - Term 4
                J2 - Term 2
                J3 - Term 3
                J4 - Term 1

If your child has tuition, it will definitely disrupt tuition schedule.

This school develops character-building and self-independence. Diverse of students all over Singapore going to NJC and low teacher to students ratio as compared to other IP schools.

The main gate is so far from the main road and you have to walk a long way in. I’m not sure if there is a short cut to this school.

Cut off point for 2018 was 256.

Have tuition at weekend or just not have tuition at all! πŸ˜„ The boarding is slightly shorter than 1 term, isn't it? Anyway, this is for JH boarding.

Can access school from the gate by the bus-stop along Dunearn Rd. But boarding gate is via school bridge or via hillcrest.

For S1 and S2, is boarding experience 1 full year or just 1 Term ?

Very convenient ....just one bus stop from Tan Kah Kee station and use the gate at bus stop 41079 to enter.
