For this year (2019) PSLE batch, EESIS Cut off point is

261 ( Before any Bonus point)

does this EESIS cut off point indicate anything this year's average t-score is higher or lower than last year?

Last year's ESIS was 260. What this means is that the cut-off for roughly the top 3% scores is 1 mark higher.[/quote]thanks, Swc and phtthp

I did not do well for psle. My t score was lower than expected. Many of my friends also got scores lower than the expected like 240 or 23 something. However some still did well

          hi,

wondering whether you have heard of anyone appealing for ESIS?

Don't be too discouraged. Whatever score you get, in Sec 1 every student is equal again because all starts from zero. Continue to work hard and enjoy learning. Meanwhile go have fun during this school hol.

Err... you either get it or you don’t. You can’t appeal (for it).

Finally the end of the 6-year journey. DD1 results slightly exceed expectation, not because she did well but my expectation is really very very very low as she is not academically inclined.

We also somewhat concluded the 6-choices. Only thinking if we should swap the 1st and 2nd choice school. I prefer 2nd choice school due to proximity to home but she prefer the 1st....

Cannot imagine next year another PSLE 😓.

Does not matter anymore. Just get to a secondary school with like minded buddies, and you can ditch the 4 letters ever after.

I have seen quite a number of happy stories turned sad bcoz child gets unexpectedly good grades n parents seized the opportunity to choose a stressful school that does not fit the child’s personality. Not worth it, it hurts self-esteem at teenage n strains family relationships.

Sorry to be posting a stupid question. I am confused about how S1 Posting works.

Assuming Child A puts School ABC as 4th choice.

Child B puts School ABC as 1st choice.

Child A TSCORE is higher than Child B.

Will Child A be allocated a vacancy in school ABC first or child B?

                      Thanks
