      Hi,

Any recent review about bowen? I am considering for my kid to apply for this school. Hoping to receive feedback before deciding this school or holy innocent/amkss/edgefield for my son. My kid results are ok, likely around the range of express COP of the above schools.

I see many good reviews for bowen for normal students due to its high COP for normal stream. Not sure if express stream student will have as good experience studying there.

Will be thankful for any review of bwss. TIA

Missed cop by 1 point. Is it possible to even try putting as 1st choice? Any advice?

How do you know this year’s COP? You don’t. You are referring to last year’s COP. Who knows. This year COP may go up or down. Besides, what have you got to lose by choosing it as first choice.

In addition to what floppy said, you may want to be a bit more \"adventurous\" in your first two choices. Consider schools whose COPs last year were more at least +5 points from your child's T-score for the first two choices. Who knows, this year's COPs might drop?

For the 3rd and 4th choice, choose schools with COPs around your child's T-score.

For 5th and 6th choice, choose schools with COPs below your child's T-score. If you want to be safe, choose those that are at least -5 points from your child's T-score.

In that way, your child won't end up being posted to school outside of the six choices.

1st choice - missed cop by 1 point

2nd choice - above cop by 1 point
3rd choice - above cop by 5 points
                  4th to 6th - above cop by 11 to 15 points

Is it okay… anyway sec choices in sengkang are very limited with my boy‘s score .

                    Yes.

Consider schools that are accessible by MRT, too. There are many students living in Sengkang but studying in the East.

Hi J.mommy, Your son is in 1(E) or 1(NA)? From P6 to Sec 1 is a big jump. Students normally take 6-12 months to adjust to the higher standard as well as the new subjects.[/quote]
