Hi, one of my daughter’s fren asked me this qn, though I am even more clueless than her.
She has 90rp, took 3H2 (ChemEconMaths), 3H1 (PhyGpPw), can she apply for Med?
I read online ystd that Med reqm is 2H2 Sci, one must be Chem, the other must be Bio/Phy.
I can’t remember exactly, but I seem to recall Med’s reqm was only H2 Chem.
Another friend with 90rp, 3H2 (ChemEconMaths), 3H1 (BioGpPw) is also keen to apply.
Shld they go on ABAS for better chances?

Just to add, one of them called admissions and they said ppl with 1H2 Chem and 1H1 other Sci have got into Med before

      From the YLL admissions website:

      GCE ‘A’ Levels
A good H2 pass in Chemistry and H2 pass in either Biology or Physics of the best four content subjects (i.e. three H2 and one H1 content subjects) used in the computation of the University Admission Score, at least one content subject (either H2 or H1) must be from a contrasting discipline.

So I am rather confused by NUS admissions. I understand the uni looks at the rp to filter for interviews. Not sure if they are concerned with specific H1/H2s taken.
I suppose my daughter’s frens can try ABAS and see what happens.
All the best to all who are applying!

            For admission to medicine,

            H2 Chem and H2 Physics/Bio are requirements.
H1 for other subjects is fine.
            No exceptions to these requirements.

Judging from last year's cut off BMAT score on the LKCsom website, your stated score is higher than the 10th percentile of students granted MMI interview. Hence, should be no problem. However, it depends on how the current cohort did for the BMAT as it is based on the bell curve.

Having said that, anyone knows when will the bulk of shortlisting offers be made for LKCsom?
