My son was unsuccessful after the interview and was given to study course of his second choice. This was make known on the NUS application status portal and followed by an sms sent to notify him. I believe those unsuccessful has been notified. So if your child application status is showing \"still in processing\" there is a very high chance of being offered or place on the reserved wait list. You will get to know it by May 11. Most of my son's friends are also having status in processing and waiting for NUS outcome, so do not worry.

Fortunately my son still got another chance at NTU and also waiting for the outcome. Will keep you posted if any news from my side. Good day! -
My son just checked his application status: processing.
Good luck to all applicants! -
There were only 2 stations this year at NUS. The questions asked by the interviewer at the first section varies depending on who was the interviewer. I wonder how objective this will be since there were only 2 stations this year. In other years, there was 5 stations.

I agree with you, two stations might not be a robust accessment of the right candidates. I am able to empathise with my son. Due to army training schedule he was not allowed to take leave and was given 2 hours to rush out of army camp down to NUS for the interviews from Nee Soon to Kent Ridge. Reaching NUS with an empty stomach skipping lunch as he do not want to be late, perspiring on a hot day with a high temperature reading check before entering the hall. He tried his best but nobody knows of his trying efforts. Came out of the interviews blurred with starry-eyed. He knew his effort had gone down the drain as he stumbled over the questions and the interviewers did not give chance but poke last minute questions onto him. Well, at least NUS interviews had given him a feel of the pressures and he was better prepared for NTU 5 sessions of MMI.

If God is willing, hopefully he would be rewarded for a good outcome at NTU. -
In fact, there were two stations with each one lasting for 15 mins only for NUS this year. The whole interview was about 30 mins. I think it’s a bit short for the interview. I wonder if it was the same for every applicant.

My daughter’s interview with NUS also lasted about 15min per station. I believe it should be the same for all applicants.
