any recommendation of tried and tested kids recent friendly games?
looking to buy some games for my P1 DS.

Don’t waste his time on games. You will have a hard time getting him back on study track later.

My boy is 3yo and he loves our iPhones (for now). Many games for him and they are free. Plus there are many educational apps on the iPhone.
Hubs and I have decided not to buy any electronic games for him at all. We will not hestitate to invest in roller blades, bicycles, badminton rackets, kites, etc. However, electronic games are a big no-no.
We are considering a Wii for family fun, but my hubs said that if we really get it, he’ll lock it up and only take it out when it’s time to play.
My boy is already a little hooked on computer games (which my dad allows him to play). I agree some games train their hand-eye coordination & reaction. My boy’s fine motor skills are rather good too. However, we are trying to put a stop to all the gaming by buying more puzzles, simple toys and books for him. -
I’m one of those against PSP for kids. Well, DS1 got it as a gift in P1 and I swear I’ve limited him to play only when we go out shopping. To be honest, I hardly go shopping. probably once a month kind of thing. Other than this, he is not allow to play.
He will find some sitting area to play PSP while I’m shopping in shopping centre.
For just barely a year, he got Myophia. Why I said PSP is the culprit because I hardly… very very hardly allow him to play computer games.
I’ve now stop him totally from PSP and he agrees to it.
This is only my case and for your reference. We blame ourself (DH & myself) not taking good care of his eyesight and exposing him too early for a handheld game devise. -
