:thankyou: It’s good for managing expectations, guess at the end of the day still have to wait patiently for the results.

Is it possible to calculate a range of T score for PSLE based on a rough estimation of marks? More accurate to multiply total by 0.7 or 0.75? wanted to read up on which secondary sch DS might be eligible for.

I read 0.73~0.75 multiplier depends on the primary school is on the tougher or more average side.
Just to share experience, I did plan 2 options for this estimate + 10, 2 options based on the estimate, and 2 options based on this estimate - 10.
Ready for the possibilities 😁 good luck πŸ‘πŸ»

My DD’s answer for the seed splitting dispersal is : "Plant F’s splitting dispersal method’s advantage is that it does not need to rely on other agents of dispersal to disperse their seeds. If there is no wind / no animals / no water, plants who rely on agents to disperse their plants may be unable to do so. But the plants who disperse their seeds by splitting action can disperse their seeds as long as their pods dry up and split open, causing the seeds to fly out and be scattered away from the parent plant." Not sure if correct.

Good thoughts! πŸ™‚ Self-initiate and no reliance on other factors. This sounds right from the perspective of comparing splitting vs various dispersal method.

In summary , this the feel /view i see:

Eng & Chinese - Manageable (chinese not as hard as expected )
Math - Not a real Difficult papers throughout but defintely not that easy & straight forward
Sci - some says easier than last 2yr/ manageable ; some say difficult (?)

last time for my elder child few yrs ago , we estimated based :
Eng , Chinese , Math + sci avg score for two subjects . over 100% –> i did manage to get the T score -quite a close estimation for us then

Thanks for your encouragement to me always. Appreciate it.

I am just glad PSLE is over. Can focus on other things, like tidying up the house where there are papers all around. About secondary school subjects, about how to spend these 3 months where cannot travel overseas.

Ya, all sure those students who say easy is from?
                  TOP class for Math.

                  πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Yeah, top in math.
Everyone in this forum says easy until a friend (son taking psle next year) exclaimed β€œwahh this year cohort henggg ah, all so easy. Read online forum all say easy chicken feet. Next year my turn confirm super tough.”

I was like (rolling eyes), Yup this year all student will get a place in IP school because papers too easy.[/quote]I have 6 of p6 students this year. Those barely pass Maths in school prelim paper told me paper 1 was ok and paper 2 was tough. Those got 80 plus for school prelim paper told me paper 1 was easy, paper 2 was manageable with few more thinking questions. I saw the video posted for few of 2020 PSLE Maths questions and i agreed that there were few questions required more thinking. The number of students got A*, A and so on is fixed based on the number of this cohort so not to worry not all students go IP this year.

Most importantly is that i told my students try to do as many questions correct as possible if they know how to do the questions. From my past few years of experience, all my students PSLE results is very close to their Prelim results unless the student has panic attack. πŸ˜“

                    Due to covid-19 ,
                    this year,
don't think schools will allow parents to sit at back of the hall anymore, to await for release of results, unlike previous pre-covid years. Schools are very strict now, don't anyhow let parents entered school premises, due to covid.

Even those PMT (parents Meet Tr) session, everything has gone virtual, online already via Zoom. Don't even allow any parent to enter school premises, talked to Tr physically.

                    Very likely,
students just go directly to their own P6 classroom, and collect their PSLE results.

Mine referred to splitting as a means β€˜by force’ and then went on to state y this method works.. avoid overcrowding, less competition etc etc.. never state that this method can work in the lack of wind... maybe if marker read it, might give a portion of the mark? Or could be totally wrong...

Sorry for asking such a stupid question.

I was under the impression that the top 10percent of marks will be Astar. Am I wrong?
