If your niece prefers girls' schools, I would recommend: CHIJ St. Theresa's Convent (238), CHIJ St. Joseph's Convent (237), Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' School (Secondary) (237), Tanjong Katong Girls' School (237), Geylang Methodist School (Secondary) (231).
My niece scored 239, no HMT. What are the Sec schools options for her?
TIA
If your niece prefers co-ed schools, I would recommend: Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary School (238), Presbyterian High School (236), Zhonghua Secondary School (236), Temasek Secondary School (235), Tanjong Katong Secondary School (234), Xinmin Secondary School (234).
Hope this helps! -

See below. NUSH fills almost all, if not all, of its seats via DSA. If there are still spaces available after the DSA CO/WL choices are made and allocated, they will open the \"SIE.\" NUSH does not participate in the S1 posting exercise.
What is \"Is the SIE open or were all spaces taken by CO/WL?\"?marcolisa\" post_id=\"2004093\" time=\"1606307693\" user_id=\"9017:

Is the SIE open or were all spaces taken by CO/WL? NUSH targets 250+ and A* in Math/Science so I think it depends on the subject scores.
He only A for sci & math, may be no chance

Will have to focus on S1 selection then. -

Seeing the list above, I think my DS t-score 255 doesn’t stands a chance at all for RI. With 255+3 HCL, Can I try HCI as first choice? He wanted to try 1st RI, 2nd HCI. 3rd Dunman High / NJC.

My son got 259(261 for HCL). Wonder if it stands a reasonable chance to get RI or Dunman?
He has a good chance to enter RI based on his 259 score (refer past 5 years COP below). However, as COP fluctuates from year to year, there is a chance that RI COP is higher or equal than 259 for 2021 intake.
Should have no issue qualifying for Dunman High based on his 261 (259+2) score (refer past 5 years COP below). Dunman High COP has never reach 261 (based on COP since 2007).
All the best! :rahrah:
Raffles Institution COP
2020 - 259
2019 - 258
2018 - 257
2017 - 260
2016 - 261
Dunman High COP
2020 - 255
2019 - 256
2018 - 255
2017 - 257
2016 - 258

Heard SJI IP teacher and culture not good. Any comments?
And you didn’t hear any negatives about any of the other schools in your list. I think you need to be open about it. Seems a pity given the score and the possibility. Of course if you definitely want the A level route then no need to consider

not considering SJI IP?
I prefer no O-Level, but ok with A-level or IB.
If need O-level, want to find the school can have affliated JC. -

wow. which school is your son from?
I heard of a girl in my son’s school getting 282. Wonder what the top PSLE score is this year but 282 is already a very high score by any standard! Anyone heard of higher scores? -

If affiliation to JC is important, I would pick VS over ACS O or CHS O for its affiliation to VJC, location notwithstanding.
