Thanks bbbay for replying! As DD has weekday Enrichment in the evening arranged ahead, knowing the cca schedule on which days helped much!

Placed CCHMS as DD first choice. Any parent can share their
      1. class size, number of classes intake per year
      2. Subject combination for sec3
      3. CCA schedule
      TIA

      1: 2019 was 10. 2020 was 9.
      2.
      For year 2021,
Available to all: Eng, HCL, E math, A math, 2 Science, elective humanity (chose 1 from these options: Hist/Geo/E lit/C lit)
Additional subject (depended on results): 1 science or 1 pure humanity ( chose 1 from: Hist/Geo/E lit/C lit)

      3. In general it’s every Wed and Fri 3pm to around 6pm I think. Some CCA, sometimes have activities on Monday too

Hi. My DD has enrolled into the school via DSA. Planning to buy uniforms soon. Can I check if the student will be wearing PE attire only on the days where they have PE lessons? If so, how many PE lessons they will have per week.
Yes, PE attire on days with PE. Typically PE twice a week.

However, it is compulsory to wear full uniform on Thursdays, even if you have PE lesson on that day.

Even when they have PE, they wear PE tops with uniform pants. I.e. have to wear uniform pants every day.

            Hi parents,

Can student wear warrior (wushu) shoes or can only wear those Bata type white shoes only? We were at Queensway Shopping Centre today to buy new school bag and wanted to buy white shoes, but was afraid CCHM has strict school shoes policy.

Yes, you are allowed to wear Warrior shoes. Do not buy those with dark-coloured stripes, though.

How much is a pair in Queensway?

Didn’t see any warrior shoes at Queensway but we saw many plain white shoes like Nike, Asics and price range around $85-$120

I saw on Sec 1 FB page that some parents posted that they got their warrior shoes from Bras Basah around $20

Is your girl planning to join wushu? If so, you may want to buy the Warrior shoes from Chinatown market. There's one shop selling for $15 a pair.

No, her first choice for CCA is Chinese Orchestra because she was in string ensemble for 3 years in primary school.

The reason I asked about warrior shoes was I read a few good comments from other parents. ** cheap & good** ☺️☺️

Anyway I might get her those plain white sport shoes because she has sole issue. Warrior is just an option for us. Frankly before this I never heard of warrior shoes. 😂. My kids’ primary school wears black shoes which only requires 70% black.

Warrior shoes come in black, too, fyi.

You may want to try out the Warrior shoes if it fits your girl because, yes, it's cheap and good. In fact, lasts longer than other brands of shoes we had tried.

                        Hi parents,

My daughter is posted to CCHM. Looking forward in meeting/ discussing school matters here.

Guess it’s time to check out warrior shoes 😁😁
