Am thinking of changing the timing of my son's class next year (when he is in K2)...does anyone ahs experience with doing this? possible?
Write to them about yr intention, if there isn't any slot, they will put u on waiting and will inform you when there is. -

Just go into the office, get a form from them. But is too early to fill in now. You can wait till end of year, since it is for next year timing.

Thanks, both!
I remember going for the parent briefing at the start of the year and I did recall them saying that there are students who will drop out after a year…so maybe there will be a space… -

Np, actually, we've just changed location for the next semester too...Thanks, both!

Wow like that maybe must prepare ground sheet, pitch tent, makan like the old days quening up for NDP tickets. If I require specific timing.titank:
Seem like this NAFA Art Class is very popular among parents. So have to queen up 48 hours in advance in order to secure a place?
Not really...the earliest I know is about 5 hours in advance. If you only want certain timing, it pays to turn up as early as you can...
The course is conducted at the NAFA Bencoolen Street? Thought they have a east coast branch? -

Actually they conduct lessons mainly at the bencoolen branch, but like I've mentioned, they do try to cater to all whom have que-d up, so they've opened classes at the Nafa Kindy as well(which we took up at first 'cos we'd mistakenly tot it was more convenient for us), :).Wow like that maybe must prepare ground sheet, pitch tent, makan like the old days quening up for NDP tickets. no need tent la, if like me, reached there ard 6 am. Make sure u have food with u, water, laptop with wireless connection, a bit difficult if u want to read a book cos it can be quite dark. Chit chat with the parents near u so to share ideas.
Like what i did with another parent.
If possible, maybe get some1 to go with u, 1 sleep in car first, then take over. Aonther advice is dun bring kids there! They will be bored. -

How do we know where to queue? there will be signboard? can also check if toilets are nearby? I reckon I will also be queuing when the time comes.no need tent la, if like me, reached there ard 6 am. Actually, I really dun feel the need to go there so early, unless u really can't do any other timing other than the only one u had in mind. Usually it's the Saturday morning classes that are popular. For my case, I took up the afternoon slot at their Kindy at East Coast, n recently I've changed to Friday afternoons at Bencoolen st, partly to our other commitment on Saturdays.
There're toilets definitely, but wherever you're queing, unless the person behind you(if u're gg alone) is willing/kind to hold your que for you, I think it's better for you to get someone to go with you as well. We went as a family, hubby, me and our child, brought some drawing stuffs for her to do(we dun have a helper at home to look after her, that's why she went along).
U have to call/email them to be placed on their mailing list, then they will inform you when it's registration time, :). -
We need to register both kids at the same slot. Hence dh went early to ensure a convenient time that fit into both their schedule.
If you are only registering for one child & not too particular about timing, I guess need not queue that early then
