Mine was totally same as yours. Basically I did not gained much from the meeting except to finally see how the form teacher looked like. The teacher couldn't answer much of my questions up to my expectation. However I can understand that if the teacher has 30 parents to meet and if every pair uses up to 15 mins, its really a stressful session for them.Hi parents,
Just wanted to check how did the \"Parents - Teacher\" meeting go for you?
Mine was over in like 2 mins...hence didn't glean much about my child from the teacher. Maybe coz I didn't really ask as I had some problems communicating. Some parents before me took more than 10 - 15mins....hahaa...
I guess we can't expect the teacher to have time to get to know our kids and especially each and every 30 one of them 'inside out'. The feedback was thus a generic 'textbook' type. So in the end I just had to fall back on the assessment sheets I received from the school on my child's academic performance, when in actual I was more concern on my child's getting along with his peers in school. -
Mine was actually about 10 mins. The teacher feedback to me about her performance, behaviour and academic issues. I told the teacher im more concern abt her behavorial issues.

Yes, my child finished his hol homework. For the Chinese homework, after you log in, go to the top tab which says \"Resources\". After that, look for \"eZhishi\". Once you are in there, you should see a section \"e-Assignment\" where the 5 assignments are in there.
The Chinese teacher gave us a screen shot of each step, hence we managed to locate it quite easily.
Hope it helps. -
Oh, my girl teacher didnt give the screen shot.
Thank you so much. Must let do it already.

From what I know as long the Primary Schools have Higher Chinese it is consider as a SAP School already.
I think now it's mostly apply to Secondary School only.
SAP suppose it means :
The Special Assistance Plan (Abbreviation: SAP; simplified Chinese: 特选补助课程) is a programme in Singapore which caters to academically strong students who excel in both their mother tongue as well as English. It is only available in selected secondary schools. In a SAP school, several subjects may be taught in the mother tongue, alongside other subjects which are taught in English. Currently, SAP schools only cater to those studying the Mandarin mother tongue, although theoretically, future SAP schools for other mother tongues are a possibility. :? -
hi hi,
i believe strictly speaking NCPS is not a SAP under MOE's listing. You can refer to the 2008 press release where it also defined what they mean by SAP:
http://www.moe.gov.sg/media/press/2008/02/enhanced-programmes-by-special.php
Also you can do a search about the schools in the link below and NCPS is not listed as a SAP.
