      Hi All,

      Happy New Year to all.
I've a question if its good to send your DS/DD to the prep schools to prepare for the interviews, PS, etc?
I did attend the online sharing but still have doubts about what I hear. Hopefully experienced parents can share their views with us. Thank you and keep safe
Definitely not. Schools are looking for authenticity. Candidates who went through coaching can be spotted because they give standard answers. Save your money lah.

Seems like LKCMedicine requires a civics tutor as referee… anybody noticed that?

Dear parents, my son is in last year of school plans to apply to both local schools for med next year (planning BMAT this year) this also fits from our affordability view.

However, if he is unable to make it to local schools we are not clear of other pathways,
Next year when he is doing NS we are not sure how difficult or feasible it is to study for UCAT for UK/Australia admissions. Please do share your insights.
                Thanks in advance!

If both local med schools not possible, only option is to consider overseas undergraduate programmes or do the post-grad med programme in Duke-NUS med school. Wishing him best of luck in the coming application.

Wow... a new requirement this year? What happens if the applicant's civic tutor is no longer around??
