can I know if the Uni look at RP or IGP first? For eg, if RP 88.75 AAA/A vs 88.875 with AAA/B. Which one will have better chance?
I think the concern is not so much on the RP or IGP.
is the interview that plays an important part. From what I heard.
there are applicants who did not get in with 90RP compare to someone who got 87 or 88 but got the place.

i heard the same, especially of NUS last year. Seem to be diversifying their intake to non traditional sources. Take it that whatever is stated as entry requirement has a weightage and will be scrutinized loh.

Through standard scheme only RP87.5 and above will get interview call. If too many application and tough competition, RP90 will get interview call. Through ABAS scheme slightly lower RP will get in. Past few year data shows..
Dear fellows, for the CCA drop down list , mentioned to list down top 10 awards /achievement. If got more than that, is it ok to list down all ? Can anybody advise ? Thanks

Same situation in ours; end day we decided to follow - 10 awards/achievement (most significant ones and pick from different areas, leadership, community services, competition... mainly)

We took the advice from others; over listing may be back firing as screening committee has thousands of applicants to look through...hard job.

Thanks for the good tip.. Appreciate. What's the procedure to send referee report? Can you share your experience?
Thanks again
2 Referee reports in our time came after call-up & interview/test.
Submit email address of referees in applicant's portal, the link will be sent by school to the referees; go online and complete the report.

My DD requested her form-teacher (Math) and the doctor that she shadowed in hospital during her holiday after A-level. Get the one who know him/her well, so the strength will be elaborated.

It is best to pre-arrange and get support from the referee, this way, no surprises at the last minute.

Prep the submission well, stand out from the rest as a all rounder. Those perfect or near perfect RP not shortlisted are likely pure academic. Those with good list of awards/achievement, all rounder will stand a better chance...

Remember, about 1-2k (guess) applicants for limited intake (2020 - intake 380), 2021 intake ??
80 out of the 380 were med students from overseas, returning due to pandemic.

Put 87.5 or 90 aside. The right thing to do is still gather the thoughts and prep the submission with heart.

Think positive and enjoy this process with your doctor-to-be, probably the last time, after this, it is let-go time, like I did!
