      Hi Parents,

I’m very out of touch. My DS is interested in med. I was told in the past, the boys would go to med school (if selected), then they go to NS. Is this still the case? If they go to NS first, then when do they need to apply for the med degree? After they get their results? DS is currently in NUSH Year 5. It’s still early but I thot I shd at least be clear when he shd apply for the degree course.

After the A/L result only can apply.

The boys would apply just like their cohort/female classmates in the same batch, and if offered, it is up to mindef to give them disruption. Applying with their cohort is to lock in their places so they pay the current fee... not the fee couple of years later after NS = higher fee. Scan through 2020 thread? all info are there.

LKC usually releases results earlier than YLL (LKC late April, YLL early May).

Yup, tomorrow (07/04) is the 2nd & final SJT for all shortlisted applicants.

                Good Luck to all :rahrah:

The second SJT is over. DD was quite cool about the FSA, not sure if that translate to anything. Keeping fingers crossed.

Within our known circle everyone said FSA and SJT went well. Not sure how they going to decide the merits. Might be 50% to academic and 50% to FSA/SJT?

for those that manage to get selected, I guess luck does play a part

definitely. One previous year parent said most RP90 student will get in unless they dont spoil the FSA/?SJT too badly.
