During last Friday MTP, there was no additional information on the new AL affiliated cutoff score until MOE announcement next year.

      However
P did mention that parent can refer to the new HCL eligibility benchmark for ≤ 8 total AL score & 9 -14 total AL score as a guide for the top 10% and top 30%, under the new system.
the Top 10% PSLE cohort Cut-off has already been fixed by MOE, to be at AL ...

      8 points,

Read that part under Higher Mother Tongue section

      https://www.moe.gov.sg/microsites/psle-fsbb/psle/new-psle-scoring-system.html

AL 8 points (Top 10% PSLE cohort Cut-off)

      is equivalent to
around 252, under the old Tscore system

      Because

in most of the past years, PSLE students with 252 and above, qualified to study at MOELC (Bishan / Newton)
      3rd foreign language

      Japanese / Spanish / French / German

Today, MOE still hasn't published any info regarding what is St Nick Affliation Cut off point, going to be. News will of be out, by end of June (Term 2). So, we just wait. Probably after 2021 P6 mid year SA1 exam is over in the later part of May month, MOE might announce.

However, let's take a look at this special AL \" 8 \" points, which is the 10% Cut off PSLE cohort, been fixed by MOE.

      Now, let's just assume
      suppose ....

St Nick were to give 2 discounted points affliation at AL 10,
      that means those SNGS affliated
students with AL 10 still can come back to study O-level Secondary, that's great, isn't it ?

But of course, this is just an assumption only. Until we hear the actual announcement, from MOE till then...

I think it is not the “2021 new PSLE AL COP for affiliation students”. The link shows it is what the students who sat for the PSLE in 2020 got.

The current students in the primary section will know the AMR through the school.

One parent reported that for Primary 1 registration this year (2021), under Phase 1 (siblings) itself alone,

already got 93 girls registered. Indeed, a very high number of \" Phase 1\" girls, been enrolled !

                As such,
we also kind of expecting 2A (1) Alumni phase to ballot too, this year.

93 pupils (girls) have been enrolled in Phase 1 (2021), source of info :-

That’s right, it’s really competitive this year for the SG50 kids. I hope all goes well for us. Any parent here registering under 2A1 this year?

                    Yes

if Alumni phase 2A(1) were to enter balloting this year (2021),
since so many 93 seats have already been "snapped up" by siblings ( Phase 1 ),
                    then

there will not be "old girls" phase 2A(2) anymore, will be totally by-passed,

should any Alumni 2A(1) phase balloting, arises.

For 2A(1) balloting parents with SC daughters living beyond 2 km,
if in the unfortunate event failed to ballot in under 2A(1),

need to consider which other backup schools, in phase (2B / 2C), to enrol your daughter into.

i think this happened last year, where a very active old girl who was also very active in the old girls association and strong member of the community missed out, apparently she was extremely devastated. Wonder how the situation resolved.
usually if there are vacancies or pull outs, such people will get first priority (rightly so i guess)
