      hi All,

May I know how are classes at nygh allocated? DSA acad students (mainstream)placed together?
My DD wants to know the possibility of her pri school mate being in same class. both dsaed to nygh
Dsa or not, historically the sch tries to put at least 2 girls from same pri in the same class, however there are 12 classes so if less than 12 are admitted then they are highly likely in separate class

        Hi,

My girl is considering to put Nygh IP as first choice.

May I know if the school is accessible to any MRT station or any parents with child staying at Sengkang can share their transportation route? Thanks!

Hi, my girl took punggol train to Serangoon northeast line, change to circle line Botanic garden, come out train station, and took bus from there. Drop off 4 or 5 stops later, in total 1 hr to reach nygh classroom in morn which is considered fast. My girl was very pleased with this route.

Thank you so much for sharing! It really helps me in planning the route. Ok I’ll try it with my girl tml.

Most likely will be in the same class together.
Last year, my DD was also from mainstream, DSA acad , was posted to a class mixture of dsa acad , sport, geppers. First day of sec 1, she was happy to see her primary school mate in the same class as her ( By PSLE t-score). The school will try their best to group the girls from same neighbouring primary school together
And by the way , the ang moh girl who is very good in mandarin, is from S1-02, not as what another parent had said in another discussion thread. Feel free to pm me if have any questions

Entire cohort is about 390. Each class between 30 to 35. The 2 gep classes slightly smaller. Roughly 30% for DSA. No \"pre-assigned\" number of places for affiliates. As long as meet the criteria, they can get in.

                  Hi Parents,

For those who DSA via acad, what sort of commitment per week is the girl required to stay back for her respective training/ program? or is it ad hoc basis? thanks.

To add on to what Swc posted, the number of NYPS-affiliated entrants is about 80 per year historically, probably plus minus 10.

                      Hello parents,

my girl is thinking of nygh for 2022. Any idea if there are private school operators for Tanah Merah to NYGH?

And re:school bus, what is the pickup time in the morning?

                      Thanks in advance!

Depends on which domain. Bilingual - ad hoc. Maths - once a week MO training. Not sure about others.
