I dont intend to jab M again and then flat out on bed for few days again while I possibly have to drive DS to his paediatric VC on 27th Dec.[/quote]
Try to get your DS to drink more water after his first jab of vaccination. I have experienced a very dry throat after all the 3 Pfizer jabs. Maybe also can consider to have some ice cream.

Thank u for the reminder, I will. Water will do fine as he loves drinking plain water. He will have almost a week to rest before school re-opens, which is perfect.

I remember sthg quite funny when i sent both DH and MIL to get their M booster…the supermarket next to the VC was completely out of stock of coconut water! Luckily there was another one few blocks away & i managed to get from that one.

SINGAPORE: Unvaccinated workers will no longer be allowed to return to the workplace from Jan 15, even if they have a negative pre-event testing (PET) result, the Ministry of Health announced on Sunday (Dec 26).

So they have decided that Omicron is not so bad, especially for a nation that is mostly vaccinated. Good!

Seems like having high vac rate & recent reverse VTLs to limit inbound travelers has helped us cope with Omicron impact, base on what I saw in parts of Europe early closures of bars & shops. Their streets are practically ghost towns with the Christmas lights. Thankful we don’t hv anti-vac protesters out on streets like those in Australia, NZ, America …

Well, since most countries have given up and started treating covid as andemic, I think omicron is a blessing in disguise. It’s a sign that covid has become as treatable as a ‘cold’ and it’s nothing to be afraid of.

                    That's right.
Thus far, it is understood that omicron variant is more transmissible than delta variant, but much less severe than delta.
