my friend who got 6 points didnt get into RGS

As I have mentioned in my earlier post in Oct 2021, that the usual RGS t-score COP of 260-261 is already within the raw score range of AL5 COP, which means there will be very few vacancies left for AL6 students at RGS.

In some years, I won't be surprised that COP may be AL5. If that happen foreigners and PR AL5 students will have to ballot for the last place.

So for RGS, the golden ticket for Singaporeans will be AL5, AL6 is simply too risky.

I don’t recall any interview for RSP. Except for filling up an application form during orientation.

Thanks for the info! We were unlucky in the ballot then.

I called the school and they confirmed that the COP is 6. Appeal is unlikely to succeed since chances of accepted students leaving are next to none. Oh well...

Appealed (with AL6) and got called up for interview, which was yesterday and 2 hours later received SMS --> Successful.

ESIS results released together upon the results day. Appears that AL5 was the cutoff for this year

Also, I heard that the girls will be allowed to wear PE attire or House T-shirt throughout the week, except on the day when assembly is held. Will this be a permanent arrangement?

This practice started in 2020 ( COVID) as students need to wear masks, and weather may be hot. No mention if it's permanent.
