Hi parents with boys in VS, can i check what is the attire that the boys can wear to school on PE days? My boy said their FT requires them to wear full U to school n bring PE attire to change. Doesn't make sense to me as i though the norm for schools is half U. Thanks.
Hi, usually at the start of the year, the boys will be required to wear full uniform to school and if there's any PE Lesson on that day, my boy will wear his PE T-shirt and shorts underneath his full uniform after which he will have to change back to his uniform after PE lessons. But there is also a choice to change to PE attire in school during PE lessons. Nearer to mid year in 2021, with the change to hotter weather, the school started to implement half uniform even on days without PE. So rest assured that they will get to wear half uniform everyday when the time comes 🙂
For now full uniform everyday till further notice. Guess it is to train the boys how to be proper gentlemen. The school is very particular with the grooming of the boys. To me, this is a good thing. 🙂

I think this is a very weird comment.

Any idea when will the Bayshore MRT be ready? 2024?

What’s the fastest way for anyone travelling from up north?

Bayshore MRT is in stage 4.

Stage 3 is supposed to open in 2022, which I think is clearly a difficult, if not impossible, milestone. If Stage 3 is pushed back by a year, you can assume Stage 4 will be pushed back by a similar timeframe as well.

                  Thomson-East Coast Line 4
Stage 4 of the Thomson-East Coast Line opens up rail connections in the East Coast region, from Gardens by the Bay to Bayshore station. It was initially slated to be completed by 2023. In a written reply by the Minister of Transport on 11 May 2021, the line will be pushed back by a year to 2024 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

That’s good. Meaning students residing at bright hill/sin ming area will have a direct train journey. If the train ride is about 30 mins after the completion of phase 4, it would be fantastico!

Stage 4... still a while to go.

Anyway, I stand corrected about Stage 3. Apparently, the Ministry of Transport is quite confident it will go ahead 2H 2022 as per the https://www.mot.gov.sg/news/details/written-reply-to-parliamentary-question-on-update-on-completion-and-commencement-of-operations-for-phase-3-of-thomson-east-coast-line-and-johor-bahru---singapore-rapid-transit-link.
