Seems like RGS is keeping some as backups then. LOL... I was told the science interview is on 29th July. So till then its still a wait though i prefer a proper closure. But no worries, just curious why some get notified for interviews, some gets rejected emails (for same domains) and some like me are left hanging in limbo. Hahaha... Appreciate all the responses though!
I think RGS Chinese and Leadership Rejection (or more diplomatically Unsuccessful) were sent out yesterday. For these domains the shortlisting notifications were sent out about two weeks ago and the tests/interviews were one week ago. Similar to the other reply, I suspect they confirmed/now know they don't need to interview any further down the list, so they sent out the Unsuccessful emails so applicants aren't in limbo (case closed and time to move on).
I am not sure if EL Unsuccessful were also sent out yesterday. Given the selection tests are later this week/early next week, the school may be sitting on some applications just in case.
We've seen SNGS dribble out notifications in batches, others seem to do all at once. Hard to know for sure.

My girl doesnt have any science olympiad. I didnt fill in anything for external awards, just used her school results. She has consistently scored AL1 for Science since P3 till now. That's all. She wanted to try and apply and hopefully get more exposure in sec sch.

Yup we are waiting too. A few also received rejection for EL or CL if I’m not wrong? But we didn’t get anything… 🙁
so RGS will send email to notify those who are going for selection tests/interviews and also those they rejected. But for us who didnt receive anything as yet even though I know they already started sending notification for interview? Just keep waiting for the email? My girl applied for Science and we didnt get any email as yet. Understand someone received email notification already for Science. Anyone knows why its like that? -

From earlier sharing on RGS DSA VA , it seems academic result is important factor to be considered for selection test. Believe your girl academic result should be good given she is applying for academic domain.
Maybe what make a difference is the awards?! Guess only -

Would u mind sharing what’s your girl’s Overall AL score for all subjects? I think they take into consideration the overall as well? Thanks.

She scored AL6 for mid year. AL1 for both Math and Science and AL2 for EL and CL.

Yah I am referring to selection camp. For those who never show up, game over as of now but they can still apply through SIE. Good luck to your HCI selection

If she has no science related awards, does she has other non related awards or leadership roles?
She scored AL6 for mid year. AL1 for both Math and Science and AL2 for EL and CL.
