It was individual session when my son attended the earlier session in RI last week.
      Thanks for sharing.

I have amended my earlier post to make it clearer that the group interview (should be mostly groups of 3) is for RI Academic Domain.

All the best to your son.

Thanks very much! Yes, we were informed that it would be a group interview this time. Congratulations to all who have made it to the final round!!
Yes, it should be mostly groups of 3 with exceptions (e.g., short-listed candidates not divisible by 3, last minute changes due to sickness, ...).

Remind your DS to stay calm and cheerful.

        All the best!

Yes receive rejection for Science domain.. time to move on.
Congrats to those that received good news!
              Thanks for sharing.

Majority of RI students (65 to 70%, similar to some other IP schools) are admitted to RI via PSLE grades.

RI enrichment and talent development programmes are open to all students. There are many non-DSA students in various Science programmes (e.g., Physics/Chemistry/Biology Olympiads, Physics/Chemistry/Biology Raffles Academy, projects and competitions e.g., SRP)

Hope your DS applies to RI after receiving his PSLE results end of the year. All the best to his PSLE!

Has anyone encountered a DSA process in which there was video recording? Why does the school want to film the whole process?

Some parents have shared in previous year (2019?) that RGS academic interviews were also in groups (not sure the group size). But do note that schools can change their criteria/process anytime so it may be different this year.

My DS attended interviews in 2 IP schools some years ago (pre-Covid) while a third school did not require interview, both interviews were in groups of 3.

All the best to your daughter.

                        In 2019, 3 years ago -

for group interview (Acadamic Maths domain), it was more than 3 candidates, per group. Inside this group interview for Maths domain, there is a mixture of both (GEP + Mainstream) P6 students, present.

My friend's daughter back then, from Mainstream (one of the more popular primary schools, but not from RGPS) , was offered a CO (RGS).

Towards the end of the group interview, she recalled one interviewer asked her directly, in front of all the other candidates present at the group interview,
                        \"are you from GEP ?\"
My friend's daughter replied \"No, I am not from GEP \".
