Math paper.. was just trying our luck even though we knew chances were almost zero.
No worries. A lot of times, exams are pure luck. Sometimes you get it, sometimes you don't. It is unfortunate that there are major exams along the way where how well you do in it means something but don't let it define you/your child. Always believe/know that you/your child will do better in the next exam. Try to make your child know that his destiny is defined by him, and not some artificial exam.

My friend’s DD class. Really hope they receive a proper closure here.
So did you hear from your friend? What is the verdict?

anyone who has elder kids or experience in the purchase of books & uniforms

is the booklist sent via parent gateway after results are released?
is the book purchase usually on the same day as the purchase of the uniforms in school?

            thanks πŸ™‚

Some schools already have the booklist posted on the school website. If so, it may be possible to order via textbook.popular.com.sg or pacificbookstores.com for delivery (note, these websites may have the school's S1 booklist when you select the school). Otherwise, it will probably be distributed shortly after the S1 results are released and the student registers (my guess).

I think uniforms vary. Some can be ordered online via the above. Others require you to go to the vendor's store or the school shop.

Some of the Appeal Forms are now available, can see some of the different info schools are requesting (if you may be on the COP and subject to ballot).

May I know if they will find out their class allocations tomorrow after S1 postings is out?

                        ...

                        RGS:
                        https://form.gov.sg/633537a7a2d8f700124851f5

                        ...
                        Should vacancies still arise,
after the S1 posting exercise is over,

                        inside RGS Appeal form content,
for the 3rd point from the Top,
                        i interpret it as ...

                        1) if say,
u have ever applied for DSA (RGS) before
& your DSA outcome is a rejection, after all the tests / attending interview, etc.

                        and
                        let's say
this year 2022 RGS Cut off point is 6,
                        same as last year,

and u happen to score AL 6, but balloted out,
                        then ...

                        no need to appeal anymore.

                        2) if u have never applied for DSA (RGS) before,

                        And

If your AL score happen to be equal to this year's RGS Cut off point,
                        then,

                        u can proceed to appeal.
