Ya but i think it's more to entice parents to sign up for the other https://www.bluetreeeducation.com/ courses.

Hi can any parent please recommend an English crash course for P6 for PSLE Paper 2? Has anyone tried the TLL or Lil But Mighty Crash Course. Or do we just do those assessment books from Popular? Past year papers answers seem inaccurate in some instances & I am unable to verify whether it is correct.

If you know which specific section of p2 he needs help in, he can do assessments books and also watch those online videos targeting at that section. If it’s whole paper and not doing so well in many sections, then I would recommend him to try LBM. Again, u need to be specific and let the teachers know, follow up..

I wonder if other P6 kids start asking for caffeine at this time?

Look through his worksheets. Note down the mistakes he made. Can apply this for grammar and synthesis. As for vocabulary, can correct the spelling mistakes. This should gain some marks.

If the tuition centres courses does not address his problems, May waste time instead, money aside.

If his foundation is strong, then can consider the crash courses.

Is she tired despite having sufficient sleep? If so, it could be mentally she is trying to avoid doing something, or maybe having some physical condition e.g anemia, low thyroid etc. Observe if she still feels tired on those days that she is having fun or when exams are over etc, compared to those days that she knows she need to study.

Sleep should be sufficient, night time plus nap in afternoon. Kinda have lower stamina for more activities during day time. Now abit better with school and staying back.

Just realised she went to buy ice tea for a school staying back (some test I think) recently and last weekend tuition, she specifically asking for tea before 2nd tuition for the day. After tea, she has lots of energy and when effects gone, she is like collapsing more tired. Just recently drank Coke at McD then headache during tuition, we suspected caffeine overdose as she has a large coke then.

That's why wondering how other kids cope..with longer hours in school and tuition.

Also maybe partly due to puberty feeling extra tired ba..thinking of it already much better than last year with 2 days a wk long hours of CCA see her near collapsed after school. Cannot be more right to let go cca this year even tho just for the short few mths.

Hope this Jun holiday can stay home and do revision. Math still same almost no improvement in marks..dunno why leh.

Happy revision to all P6 kids.

The caffeine plays a part in the extra tiredness. I hope she is aware of that now, and knows how to choose carefully.

My Sec 1 used to go earlier to school and sit in canteen to savour an iced milk tea before assembly. But he told me after a while he stopped this, cos he realized himself that by the end of the day, he felt worse, even more tired and couldn’t concentrate on hw or tuition in the late afternoon. He made the decision to stop this habit & just limit caffeine to occasional days when next day no school.
