The vertical jump equipment is not high enough to measure his reach (he reached way beyond the highest stick), so estimate lol.

And that was his strongest area. The result was about 10cm lower than his normal jump at various recent events.

Also some other subjective observations which I will withhold from sharing in public. It can happen anywhere so we accept it.
      I see. Thanks for sharing.

If u ever get called up for Round (2) interview, nothing to do with your Round (1) results anymore : these are already over & done with.

        At Round (2)
Is these two impt criteria :-

        1) either P or VP

        +

        2) music maestro (Artistic Master),

        have \" chemistry \" with u,
        like u or not.

        Ok thanks for sharing.

In your experience, usually how long before they start calling for interview?

Asking because prelims soon and worrying in advance clash of dates.

Is up to the school, when these 3 people (P or VP + music maestro), are ready to conduct Round (2) interview, as administrative co-ordination effort is required, needed to bring these busy people together.

As an applicant, u just do your best and leave the final verdict outcome to the school authority. As an applicant, u should also be prepared to ... wait

Things or situation that are beyond your control, don't focus anymore. Don't sweat the small stuff. Otherwise, our life will be pre occupied with anxiety, which is not healthy.

          In Singapore,
everybody want things done fast, at the snap of their finger saying, \"I want it, NOW !\"
But, very important, one must also learn, how to ... wait. Patience

just to satisfy my curiousity, are all RI Leadership DSA applicants asked to submit a personal statement?
Yes, RI will read ALL personal statements before short-listing for next round.

Hi all, I am new to DSA. I would like to know more about wait list. My child is going for sports DSA. If we accept WL offer will it be given to us when the PSLE results are out? Or we will not be offered at all when PSLE results are out? How does WL works? we were told (the school that we ate applying) they will only be giving 2 CO and 3-4 WL.

Using a sports analogy, if you receive a WL you are like the reserve player. Only if the CO “gives up” his spot, then you will be asked to take up the vacated seat. This will be made known to you only on the day of PSLE results.

Once u receive a Wait list, it is as good as telling u to,

                      \"Please focus on your PSLE\".

                      1)
Depending on the ranking of your Wait list (WL) position, u may or may not be converted to CO in the end. If u are lucky, your WL gets converted, if u are located somewhere high up at the top of WL and somebody from another \"CO\" listing has given up their slot, thus vacancy arise.

                      2)
Who knows your ranking WL position ?
only the Principal or VP or the DSA panel officer in charge, know. No other people know.

                      3)
And when will u know whether your WL can or cannot get converted ?

only on the actual PSLE results released day, itself. Not even one day earlier.

                      4)
So, what is your best bet ?

rely on your own PSLE results, for Sec 1 admission.

Hahaha...and lose the competition against your daughter? Don't think any kiasuparents will do such thing to jeopardise their own daughters' chance.
Actually, not just for our own kid, it has to be fair to every kid that prepared hard for it, for any domain. Some parent might think their kid wont make it, and start sharing details (either offline or online), but that is hurting other brilliant students that worked hard for it.

All parent here should only discuss about date, process, flow, criteria, selection, result, statistic etc pertaining to application itself, not about the technical aspect of any test/trial/interview in any domain.
